The FenwayCDC sees the neighborhood as an urban village: a model of smart growth and innovative sustainability where residents, institutions, and businesses thrive together. It is trying to shape the community’s future by protecting existing housing, planning future development and organizing the residents.

The mark attempts to illustrate a unique location that spans the vibrant green space of the Fens with richly diverse residential neighborhoods and dense urban spaces. All these attributes are included within a unique shape that represents community outreach.
